A DAY IN FOREST SCHOOL
Little Feet Forest School offers a variety of program options, including various days and times. Our daily rhythm is balanced with a combination of "inhale" and "exhale" activities to ensure age-appropriate development for all little explorers.
DAILY RHYTHM
8:30-9:00- Rolling arrival- students enjoy free-play, tend to class animals, and assist with set-up as they arrive
9:00- Mindful morning
9:20- Teacher facilitated adventure- art, music, nature themed play-based learning, modeling the use of tools, teacher support of themes that have emerged in independent exploration observations
10:35-Snack—>free play
11:00-Exhale activity
12:00-1:00- Lunch; Inhale activity or nap time(for full-time explorers)
1:00- Walk to Lower Maxwell Falls Trail head (in the case we cannot go to this location we will find a place to explore in the neighborhood or at basecamp)
1:30-3:15- Free exploration
3:15-3:30- Reflection & pick-up
